Born in Athens, Greece as an Air Force brat, Teri M. Brown is not one to let grass grow under her feet. In 2020, she and her husband rode a tandem bike from Astoria, Oregon to Washington, DC raising money for Toys for Tots. She has earned honors for both her fiction and nonfiction writing. Set in Soviet Ukraine, Sunflowers Under the Snow is a testament to the strength of women who rise to the moment despite their circumstances.
