Since retiring from a career in Architecture, Donn now concentrates his creative energy into painting and sculpture. His world travels have given him a vast amount of resources to draw from.
Living on the coastal waters of the Carolinas is a fulfillment of a dream. Seagulls and marshlands surround and inspire him. He feels fortunate to have studied under the internationally recognized artist Sterling Edwards, and accomplished sculptor John Acorn.

My philosophy in my painting is to express my subject’s vitality through color and meaningful brush strokes. In both my painting and sculpture, I strive to convey the beauty of life and movement. Creating and sharing my art with others gives me gratitude, joy, and enlightenment.
