In 2020\, she and her husband rode a tandem bike from Astoria\, Oregon to Washington\, DC raising money for Toys for Tots. She has earned honors for both her fiction and nonfiction writing. Set in Soviet Ukraine\, Sunflowers Under the Snow is a testament to the strength of women who rise to the moment despite their circumstances. Coffee With the Authors is a free event\, but seating is limited so the gallery asks that you call 910.575.5999 to hold your spot.
