This is a one day (4-hour) workshop about using the elements and principles of art and basic color theory to create art. This is an exploratory workshop; we will be painting studies and will not be leaving with finished work. (Not necessary to have attended Part One!)

Materials. Paper, water, cups, and paper towels will be supplied. Bring your own paints and brushes, whatever medium you are most comfortable with – but make sure you have cadmium yellow, cadmium red, and french ultramarine at the least. If you have a warm and cool red, yellow, and blue, even better. These are colors I have used:

titanium white
lemon yellow hue
cadmium yellow
yellow ochre
cadmium orange
pyrrole crimson
quinacridone magenta
cadmium red deep
phthalo blue
french ultramarine
